    Description

This keyboard was tested on a Palm TX and a Palm LifeDrive which are not included.
To use this IR keyboard I first needed to setup the test PDAs to communicate with IR:
I tapped 'prefs' in both the Palm TX and the Palm LifeDrive units and under 'Communication' then 'Connection' I selected 'IR to a PC/Handheld'.
The keyboard did not work on the Palm TX until I loaded the Keyboardv113.prc
onto my Palm TX. I loaded the Keyboard113.prc program using an XP computer with the Palm Desktop program and a Palm sync cable. The 'Keyboard' icon then showed up in the list of applications on the Palm TX.
Photos shows the alphabet typed using the Keyboard on the Palm TX using the
    keyboard program test area.
The keyboard worked on the Palm LifeDrive without me having to load any programs onto the Palm LifeDrive. (The LifeDrive already had the Keyboard app installed.)
Photo sequence shows how the keyboard is expanded:
Left side of the compact keyboard is pulled left.
Top lid edge is pulled up just below the 'palm' label to expose folded keyboard.
Top left of folded keyboard is swung open to open folded keyboard and it clicks into a solid piece
If you want to mount your Palm TX vertically, then you swing up the IR arm from vertical to horizontal and place your Palm TX underneath the IR arm.
If you want to mount your Palm TX horizontally then just place your Palm TX with the top facing the keyboard horizontal IR head. You'll need to adjust the Palm TX display to landscape not portrait.
Expanding the keyboard turns the keyboard ON.
Compacting the keyboard turns the keyboard OFF.
To compact the keyboard when it is opened just reverse the steps used to expand it:
    i.e.
Swing the IR arm from vertical to horizontal.
Slide the non keyboard part containing the IR arm to the left.
Pull up on the right edge of the keyboard and fold the hinged keyboard in half.
Swing down the non keyboard part containing the IR arm until it clicks shut.
    Two AAA batteries are included.
Palm Sync Cable, Palm TX, Palm LifeDrive, Palm Keyboard program, Palm
Desktop Program, and XP computer used for testing the keyboard are not included.
If keyboard buyer sends me their email address and requests the keyboard program  I can email the Keyboard113.prc program as an email file attachment
